Job description & requirements

Position Overview

The Executive, Social Outreach is a key planning & executing role within the Social Commerce Pod of BCM’s Media & Commerce Department. This role is responsible for planning and executing social outreach, creator/influencer engagement, community advocacy, and social commerce activations that help brands win consumer attention and drive demand across the full funnel.


Team Vision

  • BCM’s Integrated Media & Commerce model is designed to create an Omni Demand Generation engine that unlocks purchase opportunities across the modern consumer journey.
  • Consumers no longer move through a simple linear funnel. They are simultaneously:
  • Searching for product information
  • Streaming content, reviews, livestreams, and entertainment
  • Scrolling through social and creator content
  • Shopping across ecommerce platforms and online/offline touchpoints
  • The Social Commerce Pod plays a critical role in turning social attention, influence, and advocacy into measurable demand and commerce outcomes.


Responsibilities

1. Social Outreach & Creator Planning

  • Identify suitable creators, influencers, KOLs, KOCs, communities, and social pages based on client objectives
  • Define creator roles across the funnel: Awarenes- Engagement- Consideration- Advocacy- Conversion
  • Build creator mix recommendations by:
  • Category relevance
  • Audience profile
  • Content style
  • Engagement quality
  • Brand fit
  • Commerce potential
  • Ensure social outreach plans are aligned with brand strategy, content direction, media plan, and

commerce objectives


2. Social Commerce

  • Help translate social influence into commerce impact across Stream, Scroll, Search, and Shop
  • Plan social activations that support ecommerce outcomes such as:
  • Store visits
  • Product discovery
  • Product trial
  • Review generation
  • Recommend social outreach solutions for ecommerce mega campaigns, product launches, sale periods and always-on demand generation


3. Content Briefing & Creative Alignment

  • Translate campaign strategy into clear creator briefs
  • Work with Creative and Strategy teams to define:
  • Content angles
  • Storytelling direction
  • Platform format requirements
  • Product demonstration needs
  • Commerce hooks
  • Review creator content concepts and drafts to ensure quality and relevance


4. Integrated Internal Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure social outreach is integrated into broader campaign delivery:

  • Client Growth Team – understand client business objectives, campaign requirements, budget and scope.
  • Strategy Team – understand consumer insights, experience strategy, cultural signals, and must-win moment direction.
  • Performance Team – align on paid amplification, creator content boosting, tracking, taxonomy, and performance measurement.
  • Creative Team - align messaging, assets, creative direction, and content quality
  • CS Team - ensure client communication, relationship management, and service quality are consistent.


5. Reporting, Learning & Business Review

  • Work with Cleint Growth, Performance, and Ecommerce teams to consolidate reports and insights
  • Identify what worked, what did not, and what should be improved in the next cycle
  • Ensure recommendations are actionable and linked to client growth
  • Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in in social outreach, influencer marketing, social media planning, PR, digital campaign planning, social commerce, or creator management
  • Experience in agency, influencer agency, social media agency, ecommerce, MCN, or digital marketing environment is preferred
  • Experience working with creators, KOLs, KOCs, or social communities is strongly preferred
