SOCIAL CONTENT MANAGER
(Social-first Strategy • Content System • Team Leadership)
Your Role
You are a key force in ZEE’s Social team who turns sharp social observations into platform-native ideas, content systems, and campaigns people actually engage with.
This role owns the social value of the work: making sure every project has a clear social approach, strong content direction, relevant platform thinking, and high-quality content output.
You will work closely with the Social Performance Team to ensure ideas are not only engaging, but also feasible, KPI-relevant, and executable.
What you’ll own
- Build social-first approaches, content plans, and platform strategies that align with marcom objectives and audience behavior.
- Turn insights into execution: define social territories, content pillars, channel roles, creator/content roles, asset flow, and rollout timing.
- Lead content thinking across key platforms, with strong understanding of Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Instagram, and emerging social behaviors.
- Co-create with Creative and Planning teams to turn social observations into strong social-first content routes.
- Set and maintain a high quality bar for social content, including content angles, captions, scripts, formats, visual quality, and content calendars.
- Guide content execution to ensure work is on brief, on platform, on time, and up to ZEE’s standard.
- Partner closely with Social Performance Team to make sure content ideas can support KPI objectives and campaign mechanics.
- Review audience reactions and content performance to improve future content direction.
- Supervise and guide team members to ensure strong content thinking, workflow, accountability, and development.
- Proactively flag content risks, quality issues, workload concerns, and opportunities to the Director.

You can thrive at ZEE if you:
- Have strong experience in Social Planning, Content Strategy, Ideation, and Content Execution.
- Have 4+ years of agency-side experience, with at least 1,5 years in a similar manager / leadership-level role.
- Are confident leading multiple projects at once with solid prioritization and time management.
- Have real experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Can present ideas persuasively, with both strategic logic and practical clarity.
- Stay updated on platform changes, creator culture, audience behavior, and new social formats.
