Job description & requirements

Role

A Content Lead is responsible for driving the overall quality and direction of content across the projects, campaigns, and accounts they handle. This is not a role for someone who simply assigns tasks, reviews copy, or creates content just to “fill the calendar.”

This role is for someone who truly thinks in content, knows how to turn a brief into a clear direction, and has the capability to push the team toward a strong final output. If you are only good at writing captions, used to creating content by instinct, or better at giving comments than solving the hard parts yourself, this role is not for you.

Concept

At SnP, a Content Lead does not sit outside execution. You are expected to think at the level of strategy and messaging, while also being hands-on enough to directly work on idea development, angle, structure, wording, flow, and output quality until the final stage.

This is a role for someone with high standards, strong ownership, and no fear of pressure. We are not looking for someone to simply “manage the content team.” We are looking for someone who can actually lead content quality.

Key Responsibilities

-         Take ownership of the overall content direction and quality across assigned projects and campaigns.

-         Receive briefs from account/client teams, identify the right objective, audience, insight, message, and delivery requirements, and turn them into a clear, workable, and sharp content direction.

-         Build content approaches, angles, key messages, narrative lines, content pillars, and format directions that fit each brand, campaign, and business objective.

-         Directly handle key or difficult parts of a project instead of only assigning work and reviewing output.

-         Review, refine, and elevate the team’s output to ensure content is on direction, on brand voice, on objective, and at the right quality level before going to clients or production.

-         Work closely with account and other relevant stakeholders to ensure content does not drift away from the brief, miss deadlines, or fall into the trap of “good idea, weak execution.”

-         Contribute to proposals, pitch decks, sample content, and other narrative-related materials during pitching when needed.

-         Stay close to execution to spot issues early in terms of quality, logic, format, flow, or tone of voice, and solve them proactively.

-         Guide and manage content team members or freelancers when needed, while maintaining a strong quality bar.

-         Evaluate content effectiveness, draw learnings, and recommend improvements for future phases.

Requirements

-         Minimum 4–5 years of experience in content roles within an agency or a similar environment.

-         At least 1–2 years in a senior or lead position is a strong advantage.

-         Proven experience in campaign content, social content, branded communication, or proposal/pitch content.

-         Exposure to multiple industries, multiple brief types, and multiple formats is a strong plus.

-         Enough depth of experience to tell the difference between content that is merely “okay” and content that is truly strong enough to work in the real world.

-         Able not only to write, but also to think, shape angles, build messages, and maintain quality across the full output.

-         Able to lead through expertise, not title.

-         Strong content taste and, more importantly, strong judgment.

-         Able to handle deadline pressure, dense feedback, fast changes, and an execution-heavy environment.

-         Able to work independently, drive work forward, and maintain standards for both personal output and team output.

-         Clear, professional, and accountable in the way you work.

-         Comfortable working across different formats and problem types, including social, digital campaigns, branded content, proposal content, key visual direction, and content for production.

-         Good working English.
