Job description & requirements

Our dynamic and creative team is looking for a Senior Planning Manager in Communication Innovation with the key roles and responsibilities as follows:

1.   Communication Planning - the overall role is to lead a team in communication strategy, and content planning, and action plans to bring brand and creative strategy to life. These include:

  • Trendspotting, Research Conduction, Insight Mining
  1. Identify relevant trends in local consumer or business culture
  2. Conduct research, including selecting the best methodologies, providing oversight to the team, and developing insightful and relevant conclusions.
  3. Understand branding and marketing communications, with a focus on how target audiences think, behave, build perceptions, and consume information.
  4. Uncover the needs, concerns, and touchpoints of the target audience.
  • Develop customer journey maps to identify communication gaps and create optimizations/ recommendations.
  • Develop the creative brief, strategy, and communication plan to solve the key challenges and deliver the objectives.
  • Communication Framework and Content 

a. Bringing the big idea to life via relevant communication channels & touch-points with a clear cohesive communication story.

b. Communication tactics: Working with specialists (Creative, PR, Social, Media) to propose feasible & detailed ideas for each channel/ touch point and bring the ideas/ plans to life. 

c. Develop detailed plan and maintain the social content calendar ensuring social media content is regular, relevant, and engaging.

d. Media understanding: how it affects communication planning and how to apply media insight into the communication plan.

  • Campaign effectiveness:

a. Campaign supervision is to work with account management, clients, content writers, and designers to supervise all types of works, ensuring they meet strategic requirements and quality.

b. Observing and evaluating what works and doesn’t work.

  • Deliver business KPIs including agency revenue and organic growth in scopes and revenue with clients you service, also opening a new business to new clients. At the end of the day, a senior planning manager is to influence clients in doing business with the agency in strategic and effective approach for their business and achieving good reputation with good work for the agency.


2.  Brand Communication Consulting

Our strength in PURPOSE.ANT is to consult clients on business cases that require navigating business and communication issues, mapping solutions, phrasing plans, developing action plans and KPIs, and guiding both internal and client teams to implement strategies and plans in order of priority to address the defined issues and deliver business results. This requires combined skills of business analysis and communication strategy and plans implementating to deliver results to clients. A senior planning manager in communication innovation, you will be involved in relevant consulting projects, particularly when in need of consulting clients on how to drive innovation in communication, go to market, and engage with consumers. 


3. Innovation Initiatives and New Development Taskforces

Innovation is a core value that we continue to drive in PURPOSE.ANT, combines creativity, data analytics, technology, and purpose. As a senior planning manager in Communication Innovation, you are encouraged to join in and/or lead cross-function innovation task force and to initiate innovation in communication, go-to-market, and consumer engagement solutions. In either case, you are encouraged to proactively approach taskforce team leaders, your line manager, BOD to propose innovative solutions in your sectors to meet criteria:

  • adding value to clients
  • deliver revenue growth
  • drive meaningful newness to advance both clients’ and the agency’s performance.
