Position Overview
The Manager, Media Planning is a strategy & planning role within the Client Growth Pod of BCM’s Integrated Media & Commerce Department. This position is responsible for handling full-funnel client accounts with strong ecommerce focus, ensuring that client business objectives are translated into integrated media, social, and commerce plans that drive measurable demand and sales outcomes. Unlike a pure strategy role, this position sits closer to client business ownership, media planning, budget flow, cross-team coordination, and integrated execution management. The role acts as the bridge between client needs and BCM’s internal specialist teams, including Performance, Social, Ecommerce Operations, Creative, and Tech.

- Consumers no longer move through a simple linear funnel. They are simultaneously:
- Searching for product information
- Streaming content, reviews, livestreams, and entertainment
- Scrolling through social and creator content
- Shopping across ecommerce platforms and online/offline touchpoints
- The Client Growth Pod ensures that BCM’s solutions are commercially relevant, client-focused, and connected
- across the full funnel.
Responsibilities
1. Full-Funnel Account Planning & Management
- Manage assigned client accounts with a full-funnel mindset, covering awareness, consideration,conversion, and purchase
- Receive, clarify, and challenge client briefs to ensure clear business and communication objectives
- Translate client business challenges into integrated media and commerce planning requirements
- Ensure each plan has clear channel roles, funnel logic, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics
2. Ecommerce-Focused Client Growth
- Understand client ecommerce priorities, including GMV, sales growth, conversion, platform visibility, traffic, promotion performance, and customer acquisition
- Identify ecommerce growth opportunities across platforms, including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop,
- Brand.com and Retail media or commerce media channels
- Work with internal performance and ecomemrce operation team to propose ecommerce-focused solutions
- Ensure media and commerce activities are connected to client commercial outcomes, not only media metrics
3. Client Relationship & Business Ownership Support
- Act as day-to-day or project-level contact for assigned client workstreams
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional services, packages, or integrated solutions
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively solve issues before escalation
4. Integrated Internal Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of full-funnel solutions:
- Strategy Team - align on consumer insights, experience strategy, purchase/intention zones, and strategic frameworks.
- Performance Team – project lead of paid media planning, deployment, optimization, taxonomy, tracking, and performance reporting.
- Social Commerce Team – project lead of social planning, creator/affiliate/livestream opportunities, advocacy, and social commerce execution.
- Ecommerce Operations Team – coordianate to ensure store hygiene, product readiness, promotion setup, stock, fulfillment, logistics, and platform execution are aligned with campaign needs.
- Creative Team - align creative/content requirements based on client objectives, platform needs, and funnel stages.
- Technology Team - coordinate when tracking, dashboard, commerce tech, landing page, data integration, or technical support is required.
- CS Team - ensure client communication, relationship management, and service quality are consistent.
Reporting, Learning & Business Review
- Work with Performance, Social, and Ecommerce teams to consolidate reports and insights
- Translate performance data into client-friendly business implications
- Identify what worked, what did not, and what should be improved in the next cycle
- Ensure recommendations are actionable and linked to client growth
- Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- 4–5+ years of experience in media planning, digital marketing, ecommerce, or integrated campaig management
- Experience managing full-funnel digital campaigns or ecommerce-related accounts is strongly preferred
- Experience in ecommerce enabler, digital agency, media agency, or commerce platform environment is an advantage
- Strong understanding of client business needs and ability to translate them into actionable plans
- Preferred Certification: Meta Blueprints, Google Ads, GA4, TTS Academy, Shopee Seller Education Hub or related ecommerce certificates will be considered a strong advantage
