/SUMMARY/
The Associate Account Manager shall exercise supervision and execution of designated client accounts. She shall maintain and supervise client brand and communications programs as well as provide assistance on new business as required.
/RESPONSIBILITIES/
● Implements team strategy and plan in line with company strategy and objectives to drive team’s performance;
● Acts as a client point-of-contact for all day-to-day delivery of projects;
● Understands the basics of clients marketing strategy; help to keep deliverables on strategy and action plan;
● Formulates clear and accurate briefs, and upon client’s approval, presents to Agency Teams such as Creative Team, Strategic Planning Team, and related internal partners to execute Brand campaigns;
● Accurately communicates Agency’s expectations and consultations to Clients;
● Ensures client’s satisfaction by delivering expected campaign/project on point, on time and on budget;
● Arranges timelines and facilities for all necessary weekly, quarterly, yearly meeting, and seminar/workshop as alignments with Clients and internal Parties;
● Ensures all required reports of Brand Team to submit on time both to the Agency and Clients;
● Coordinates with external suppliers to propose quotations and cost estimates of authorized campaigns to Head of Department for getting approval;
● Follows up the project management of all the Brand activities to ensure timeliness and cost management of the projects;
● Supervises the team to ensure client satisfaction through planned initiatives to improve performance;
● Researches and keep up-to-date with Client’s business, competitors, consumers and market trends;
● Conducts, generates and submits necessary analysis of required research and market checking to contribute Team’s strategy;
● Works closely with internal partners such as Creative, Editorial, Strategic Planning and Production Team to follow through on executions of production.
● Contributes ideas and supporting information to develop Team’s strategy for gaining new business as required;
● Manages, trains, coaches and develops subordinates to ensure they perform at their best while providing them the opportunity to develop professionally.
● Provides formal performance reviews on yearly basis, probation performance review and other periodic performance review whenever necessary. Gives constructive feedback and support to promote the development of key skills
● Inspires subordinates to reach the highest standards and achieve success.
● Other responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by direct manager.
Project Management System:
● Create and output quotes and jobs accurately - with the correct application of FEE, PURCHASE and EXPENSE
● To keep their User and System Status updated whenever a client approves or declines a quote
● To assist with collections, to input in a timely manner the clients PO value and details to signify order confirmation - set Job to Invoice
● To submit their timesheets on time at the end of each week and aligned with the job numbers
● To submit their expense claims via My Traffic
● To raise a notification to BD when there is a Job Over Run. (Exceed budget provided by client).
/QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS/
●Female with Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications and/or Advertising)
● 2+ years experience as an AM, 1+ year of AE and, a minimum of 2 years of which has been in an advertising agency environment.
● Strong account management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
● Experience in managerial role.
● Experience in Digital technical.
● Experience in agency preferred.
● Strong presentation skills.
● Team management skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
