Title: Senior Business Development Executive
Reporting line: Business Development Manager
- A highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth for our Marketing agency.

- The Lamp is an established boutique full-spectrum marketing agency capable of marketing to local and international brands in the Vietnam landscape by focusing on industries ranging from FMCG, F&B, Banking, Technology, Retail and many others.
Get to know the role:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and research potential clients, industry trends, and market opportunities to maximize business development efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify unique selling propositions and market positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting meetings, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and marketing trends to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional networks and generate leads.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support, training, and sharing best practices.
The day-to-day activities:
- Cold call and initiate first contact with key decision makers of companies.
- Source for potential clients and build a healthy pipeline of leads
- Work closely with the line manager to execute acquisition strategies and initiatives
- Keep abreast of the market and industry situation along with competitor activity as part of feedback and learning
- And other duties as determined by the line manager after due consultation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, key decision-makers, and industry influencers.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles, digital advertising, and branding.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Availability to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
- Fluent communication & presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Salary: 15 - 18M VND or negotiable + Commission
