Job description & requirements

As a Production Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of production materials and services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs on time and within budget.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for production materials and services, including print, digital, and event production.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the agency and its clients.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for production projects, tracking expenses and ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of materials and services procured, conducting regular assessments to ensure they meet the agency's standards.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the account management to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with the agency's policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to procurement, including delays, quality concerns, and budget overruns.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, vendor performance, and project status.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a creative agency or production environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with production processes and materials in the creative industry, including print, digital, and event production.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and a team player.
